Developing a Dashboard Successfully in React JS With Key Structural Steps

When you embark on a React Dashboard Development project, there are certain fundamental steps which should be followed so as to make the project more scalable, more maintainable and able to withstand changes in the future. From the experience gained, here are some of the areas that one needs to emphasize on:

1. Project Structure and Organization

Setting up a project structure that is organized properly at the very beginning is critical. A well modular component structure is easier to scale and maintain. This is how I tend to it:

• src/components: Reusable components, that includes buttons, tables, charts and shapes.
• src/pages: Main or view pages in the specific dashboard such as Home, Analytics, Reports etc.
• src/services: Making API calls and logic of data acceleration.
  src/utils: Utility code or helper files e.g date conversion, string operations e.t.c.
• src/context: For the global state management through the usage of React context or any other like Redux
• src/assets: for media file placement such as images, icons, and others.
