APPLE will soon launch its hacker-busting scheme to eliminate passwords.

All iPhone owners will have the option to switch from passwords to Apple’s sleek new replacement.

Passwords are essentially a fairly weak form of protection, which may seem unusual.

For years, cyber-security professionals have issued warnings about the shortcomings of passwords.

Simple passwords are easy to crack, and even complex ones can be compromised or compromised.

More of our personal lives are now online and we are logging into more apps and services than ever before.

Passwordless logins will now be available on iOS 16 for iPhones and macOS Ventura for Macs later this year, according to Apple.

At Apple’s WWDC 2022 presentation back in June, the significant update was revealed.

And it will materialize in September with the release of iOS 16 and the rumored iPhone 14 (which is now just a few weeks away).

Passkeys, a brand-new system, is how it operates.
